After saving money from working at several jobs, her father suspected Rose was doing drugs and sent her to a rehab center. However Rose ran away at the age of 13 to LA, in the hopes of becoming an actress. She worked a lot of quirky and hard jobs to stay put before her real break-through came to pass. One of her jobs included standing in the entrance of a movie theatere and lure guys to come and see her, and in turn the movie. Rose used to spend her nights dancing at gay clubs, she wasnt gay but she didn't want guys to harass her while she's dancing. Once she was even kicked out because she was mistaken for a man, awww.

Rose stared in 1994 in a movie along side Brendan Fraser, but her big break wasn't up until she was cast a role in the movie, "The Doom Generation", that raised a lot of eye-brows and got her the publicity that was followed by several other movies, but it wasn't until "Scream" that she got into the publics head.

In 1998, Rose met Marilyn Manson and after a year they both got married however also got devorced later on.
