Shannen was born in April 12nd, 1971 to baptist parents Tom and Rosa. In 1978, when Shannen was 7, her family moved to L.A and soon after she decided that she wants to be an actor. 3 years later, at the age of 10, she got a part at a series called 'Father Murphy'.

As a child, Shannen was a hard-working school girl who had very good grades and was considered popular, although prefered to hang out in smaller groups.

Soon after that, Michael Landon noticed her role in 'Father Murphy' and decided to cast her as Jenny Wilder in the series 'Little House: A New Beginning'. She later on appeared along side Winona Rider and Sarah Jessica Parker in different roles.

At the age of 19, Shannen got her first 'big gig' as the role of Brenda in the hit TV series 'Beverly Hills 90210, however after 4 years Aaron Spelling had to remove her from the show after a few conflicts with other actors and showing up late to the set. She kept her head low and worked on a few small projects until a new break came along her way the role of Prue Halliwell in the new TV series 'Charmed' along her best friend, Holly Marie Combs. However she left the show after 3 years, to move on to 'bigger and better things', some say it was connected to tension that was going on between her and Alyssa Milano, who plays the role of Phoebe Halliwell, her sister. But none the less, Shannen kept working on severel more productions, amongst them: 'Night Light' and 'The Rendering'.

Shannen was married 2 times (once in Las Vegas) and was engaged a few times also, but none of them seemed to have lasted over a year. We hope that soon she will find her mr. right and they could both ride off to the sunset.
